Robert McCarthy; Chief Operations Officer: Raised in a large family with a long history in construction, Robert’s favorite family dinner conversations revolved around his father’s experiences as an operating engineer on many of Manhattan’s skyscrapers. While earning a degree in liberal arts with an emphasis on business, his passion for construction emerged and inspired him to learn the industry from the ground up.
Robert’s carpentry skills and inclination for managing people helped him climb the ranks in residential remodeling and new home construction from journeyman to project manager and eventually owner.
In 2002, with over 15 years of experience, Robert joined Heuer & Company as project manager on a variety of commercial projects. His leadership ability and team approach continues to foster the growth of the firm.
Robert is a member of the Executive Association of New Jersey and a longstanding allied member of the Architects League of Northern New Jersey. Robert also volunteers his construction development expertise to the newly formed Bergen County Salvation Army Advisory Board.
Along with wife Patti and daughter Alison, Robert resides in Midland Park, NJ. Many Saturday mornings are spent feeding the family pony and Alison’s passion for all things equestrian.
