Veterinary Emergency Group Construction services for their national rollout of veterinary care hospitals. Providing Construction Management, General Contracting and Owner’s Representative services. Nationwide Build of 33 hospitals in 12 states in 4 years Architect: Animal Arts, Boulder CO. The challenge To develop an internal team that could grow in proportion to the needs of this fast-paced national rollout providing emergency veterinary care. To work collaboratively on developing program specifics that would follow the various state requirements and to ensure consistency in planning, value, timing, and quality regardless of the location or the type of contract used to produce each location The result Gained the trust and confidence of the founding partners with earlier projects that led to multiple projects nationwide. Worked in collaboration to develop standards with Animal Arts Architecture, 20/20 Engineering & AE Lighting Design, Airnetics, Mid Mark, Garden State Imaging, FC Dadson, Weidenbach & Brown. Services included site selection, preconstruction planning, budgeting, scheduling, value engineering and national vendor coordination/support. Developed an internal team dedicated to support this one account growing it as the needs grew. Handled a myriad of challenges made more difficult during the pandemic.
